Byrdy (pronounced Birdy) was founded in 2018 by Kelly Bowen. 

After living abroad for 15 years, Kelly returned to the small beachside town of the Coromandel Peninsula, where she had cherished her summers since childhood.

Balancing a full-time job with her passion for graphic design, she graduated from CATC Design School in 2012.

With a growing family and a continued love for creative design, fashion, and local markets, Kelly launched Byrdy. Initially focused on designing prints, graphics for clothing, and handcrafting bohemian turban headwraps, Byrdy quickly gained momentum.

Kelly joined forces with five other women to open a collective store, and later transitioned Byrdy Label to an online platform, where it now thrives alongside curated brands like Estilo Emporio and Le Edit.

Byrdy captures the essence of coastal living, offering a thoughtfully curated collection of fashion and accessories that blend luxury with a touch of bohemian charm, perfect for a beachside lifestyle.

Estilo Emporio began in the seventies in Sitges, on the Coasta Brava of Spain.

Now based in Sydney, Estilo Emporio's line of linen clothing is manufactured in Italy and inspired by a love affair with the Amalfi Coast and the meeting of a local likeminded designer.

The Linen collection supports the artistry of making clothes; honoring the real, traditional, artisanal methods of manufacturing with raw-flax woven on old looms by Italian artisans.

The collection complements Estilo Emporio’s philosophy -  rustic elegance that is alternative, sincere and functional with flair - aimed at delivering only the highest quality product and a collection that strikes the perfect balance between international influence and Australian everyday style.
